This is one of my favorite rudiments. At low speed I often use a sort of just drop the stick technique. At all speeds (except the very slowest) I use push/pull technique. At the very slowest I can just do wrist strokes.

My right hand is accidentally inspired by Dave Weckl. My left changes from time to time.
