As others have noted much of what he states contradicts earlier statements of him. Another more crucial point is that Trump tries to gain political popularity by exploiting the situation. It is quite difficult keeping track of Trump's stand on this situation. He constantly changes his mind. Also he constantly blame others for either being behind him and USA when it comes to corona stats, or he blames others for his own loss of control. He's quite scary.
